Maison Jean Loron - Between Mâconnais and Beaujolais: an estate at the heart of the terroir
Tasting
La Chapelle-de-Guinchay 1846 D906
Between stunning historical pieces and premises redesigned to give you the best possible welcome, taste and visit this estate halfway between the Mâconnais and Beaujolais regions.
The Chardonnay and Gamay Noir grapes are the product of meticulous expertise, the aim of which is to produce great wines that express the purity and definition of their terroirs of origin.
While the story begins in 1711 on the steep Beaujolais hillsides, in the heart of the village of Chénas, it was in 1821 that heir Jean-Marie Loron decided to set up his business and winery in Pontanevaux, not far from the railway line and major roads.
