Open House Food & Wine Pairing - Château de Beaupré
"In December, the Double Family opens the doors of the Château de Beaupré for three gastronomic weekends on the theme of "food and wine pairing". In December, the Château de Beaupré will be covered with Christmas trees, wrapped packages, lights and red and gold colors. The gastronomic animations will take place on Saturday and Sunday, December 4/5, 11/12 and 18/19. During these three festive weekends, chefs and craftsmen from the region will present their gastronomic know-how to visitors. An opportunity to discover exceptional dishes paired with the best wines of the family! In the courtyard of the domain, a market of artisan producers and craftsmen will be on hand to offer you original and local creations. On the program: artisan canner, olive grower, beekeeper, ceramist and floral designer. On Saturdays December 4, 11 and 18, the domain will host a foodtruck that will allow you to eat on site. This year, children will be spoiled on Saturdays too! A Christmas cookie customization activity will be offered to 6-12 year olds while older children will participate in food and wine pairings. In the boutique, a wide selection of gift boxes and fine products will allow you to prepare your Christmas gifts in the best way possible: from a simple wink to a prestigious present, from food and wine pairings to table art boxes. Something to delight all your loved ones! This year, in view of the health crisis we are experiencing, the Beaupré team has decided to set up a protocol allowing visitors to enjoy the animations in complete safety. In the presence of a craftsman or a chef, the food and wine pairings will be presented in the historic cellar, in a restricted committee to respect the barrier gestures. While waiting for their turn, visitors will be able to enjoy the courtyard of the domain decorated for the occasion, to warm up by the braziers or thanks to hot Christmas drinks and will be able to exchange with the craftsmen present. Following the new regulation in force, the health pass will be mandatory to participate in the animation in the barrel cellar. Holiday dishes will be featured: cheese, truffles, seafood, caviar, foie gras and chocolate. The tastings will be hosted by members of the Double Family or the estate team, accompanied by local artisans and chefs.
