Le Pré aux Clercs
The menu at Le Pré aux Clercs gives pride of place to traditional dishes in the spirit of Georges Blanc's cuisine. Bresse poultry, eggs en meurette and braised onions are to our childhood taste buds what the madeleine was to Marcel Proust. A fine wine list.

Palais des ducs et des États de Bourgogne
Behind the beautiful classical order of its façade, the Palace of the Dukes and States of Burgundy reveals several centuries of history. The former ducal residence (to the east), rebuilt in the 15th century under Philip the Good, became the residence of the king and the governor of the province from the 16th century, and is now joined to the palace of the States of Burgundy built from the 17th century onwards (to the west). Jules Hardouin-Mansart, the king's first architect, was commissioned to design the new Place Royale (Place de la Libération). He unified the facade of this group of buildings and created the palace as we know it today, centred on a main courtyard and the square, and framed by two courtyards: Cour de Flore to the west and Cour de Bar to the east. The Philippe le Bon tower, preserved in the centre of this complex, remains the symbol of power over the city.
The palace now houses the town hall, the fine arts museum, the municipal archives and the tourist office
The ducal kitchens and the guards' room, the former grand reception room of the dukes, can be seen in the museum. The climb to the Philippe le Bon tower is organised by the tourist office, which also allows access to the chapel of the Elected Officials (18th century). Access to the rooms of the Palais des États (Gabriel staircase, Salle des États and Salle de Flore) is via the Cour de Flore during the cultural events that take place there or via the guided tours offered by the tourist office.

Mama Shelter Dijon
More than just a hotel restaurant, it's an experience to be had in a modern, atypical atmosphere. The idea is to offer a warm and popular place to live, ideal for getting together with friends or family. A pétanque pitch, giant table football, cinema, DJ set, cosy family rooms are the hallmarks of the concept and its success with young people in particular. While the concept is the same all over the world, the recipe is not the same everywhere.
identical everywhere. Mama Shelter Dijon will also have a local flavour, with a wine tasting area in particular. The restaurant will offer carefully prepared home cooking, open to the dining room and extended by a terrace.

The Perrin de Puycousin Museum of Burgundian life: This museum displays ethnographic rural objects collected at the end of the 19th century by M. Perrin de Puycousin, a celebrated folklorist. Thanks to him, you will find a wealth of furniture, household implements, regional costumes, all of them on display in a true- to-life context. In addition, life-size shops which used to be located in the streets of Dijon have been faithfully reconstituted. Among them a chemist's, a grocer's, a butcher's, a clockmaker's , a toyshop etc... Original posters and signs which used to adorn the walls of Dijon advertise former local industries and present-day Burgundian specialties. The visitors can't miss the special section devoted to the history of mustard... Finally, detailed explanations concerning the various local crafts based on the geological environment will show the visitors how craftsmen used to work on stone, clay and wood.
