The "Oils and Gourmet Treats" workshop
Since 1982, Jean Marc Montegottero and his team have been perpetuating the artisanal production of 100% fruit-based virgin oils; a fine, completely natural product: one fruit...one oil.

Over the years, L'Huilerie Beaujolaise has won the confidence of the greatest French and foreign chefs, making them ambassadors for its exceptional products.

As part of our partnership with the Vallée de la Gastronomie, we invite you to spend half a day discovering our expertise.
To awaken your taste buds, your journey will begin in Belleville-en-Beaujolais, where Loïc Piètre will offer you a culinary workshop based on one or more of our products (oils, vinegars or fruit powder).
It's not a cooking class, but you'll be able to get your hands dirty on an occasional basis. And, of course, you'll be able to taste what's been prepared in front of you.

At the end of this "mise en bouche", you'll be given a recipe card so you can reproduce this gastronomic experience at home.
A short 20-minute drive will take you to the gates of our Beaujeu mill, giving you an insight into our beautiful Beaujolais region. The guided tour of this 19th-century workshop will reveal some of our manufacturing secrets. Afterwards, you can sample our oils and vinegars and visit our boutique.

We cannot guarantee that the mill will be operational during the tours.

Maison P. Ferraud & Fils
Our traditional, family-run estate has been passed down through the generations since 1882, and is today managed by the 5th generation. We offer visitors the whole range of Beaujolais wines for tasting and sale. Come and discover this place steeped in history with its old cellars dating back more than a century! Our wines come from our family-run estates and châteaux which grant us exclusivity and with whom we work in partnership, some of them for decades now.
Our philosophy has always been to give priority to the particular character and personality of each of the appellations, while respecting the variety of the terroirs.

Château Bellevue - Morgon
A 19th-century residence of character overlooking the village of Villié-Morgon, in the heart of the Beaujolais wine region, it was once home to one of the children of the Lumière brothers, as well as Princess Lieven, née Chateaubriand.

The Château Bellevue vineyard covers 18 hectares. The management of the Château's vines is based above all on respect for the ecological balance of the soils, which are tended according to a sustainable viticulture approach.

All the grapes vinified in the winery come from the Château's vineyard plots, each of which enjoys an exceptional geographical location on the hillsides. The vines are rooted in multi-faceted Climats. The Gamay Noir is the mirror image of this mosaic of terroirs, with its varied aromatic expressions.

The Château is set in over 3 hectares of magnificent English-style parkland. Treed with rare and century-old species
(araucaria, weeping cedar, etc.), it offers a magnificent view over the Beaujolais region. A special discovery trail has been set up, and you can find the names of the trees engraved on the staves.

If you would like to stay at the Château, we have 5 refined guest rooms and a cosy self-catering flat for 12 people.

Château Bellevue was awarded the national prize for "Best Welcome in the Vineyards" by the Revue du Vin de France.
We offer wine-tasting tours all year round by appointment, but our wine-tourism activities can be tailored to suit your needs.

Day 3

Villié-Morgon > Fleurie
Cave Christophe Savoye
Christophe also produces some superb Morgon and Régnié vintage wines, from the best Beaujolais vine plots, with great respect for the terroir. He was awarded the High Environmental Value certification, in keeping with the 'Grenelle Environnement' commitments.

He also organises wine tourism activities, taking visitors on a tour of his village and his wines. You can choose to explore the highlands of Chiroubles on a Segway or an off-road electric scooter! Are you feeling a bit less adventurous? In that case, you could treat yourselves to an overnight stay in a luxury gypsy caravan in the midst of the family's vineyards for a guaranteed change of scenery! Or why not go hiking with a picnic hamper and enjoy the breathtaking views all around you?

Individuals and groups are also welcome to visit the winery. The whole estate is accessible for people with reduced mobility.

Domaine Philippe Aufranc
My grandfather acquired the estate in 1935. At the time it was a mixture of grapevines and meadows. The estate is set on sandy-granite soil in the middle of the hillside, east of the 'Madone de Fleurie' hill in a hamlet called Prion, and in 1978 the vineyard became the estate’s main activity. Today, it covers 7 hectares of land.
As the son, grandson and great-grandson of winegrowers, I came to live on the family estate in 1984, at the age of 20. The estate has been managed according to the 'Terra Vitis' agroecology approach for 20 years now.
